Outfit Chronicles: Guest Photographer

*takes a deep breath* Okay, y'all know I get over excited. Right? I SWEAR if I didn't have to type, my hands would be everywhere as I told you what a week this has been. And the best part is that next week will only bring more!

But back to Outfit Chronicles. Like I told you last week, Brittany from Brittany Nicole Photography was in town for a creative getaway :) I love this girl! I welcomed her with open arms -- camera in one hand and curling iron in the other, hehe. However, she had her plans too -- to get Jose and I in front of the camera! Those are right here if you want to check them out!

Since I was all dressed up, I asked her to go ahead and take my photos for my weekly Outfit Chronicles!

Dress: H&M, shoes: Plato's Closet (steeeeal!), earrings+necklace: F21, bracelet: Happy Hippie Boutique, sweater: no idea -- got it in college.

It was funny because we had gone to the mall to get some clothes for Brittany and also get myself some accessories. Well, we didn't get to the mall until 2:30 p.m. and two hours just FLEW by. I realized we had to race home so we wouldn't miss the sunset. We were hungry and knew that the second we got back to my house, we wouldn't have time to eat so we stopped at Wendys on the way. Oh, and by the way, I found my food-lover partner --- this girl and I are ALWAYS hungry! So when we got to my place, Jose was already dressed (waiting on us) and asked "Alright! We ready to go?!" NOOO! I yelled, as I stuffed the chicken sandwich in my mouth, through bites yelling back -I'm not even ready!

I don't think I've ever gotten ready that fast. My hair, make up, outfit, accessories... all of it done in like 20 minutes. We made it with plenty of time to Papago Park where Brittany created her magic :) She's a beautiful person and photographer. You should be on the edge of your seats to see the photos I took of her! I'll call it my Imaginale Design make over ;) Though I really can't take much credit because Brittany gave me so much to work with.

Hope you're looking forward to it :) Thanks for all of your support!

p.s. LAY OFF ME... I'm STARVING!! -- Our newest inside joke. Extra points to those who can guess where this is from! ;)

Cotton Candy

Aside from the extremely annoying pollen that coated my car yellow, the trees in Georgia are something I'll always miss. First of all, they're insanely TALL, and these particularly giant trees wouldn't just appear near parks -- they would be in your BACKYARD. Growing up in Texas, trees weren't exactly a pinnacle in the Lone Star State. Everything might be big in Texas, but certainly not the trees.

And now, my entire environment has transformed from green to dirt. There isn't really any change in Arizona during the Fall. Why? Because we don't have actual TREES! (Ok, not many). Welcome to... Miami? Yep. We have palm trees. I LOVE THEM!! Granted, I am still completely new to this state and I know they will probably get old by next year. However, at this moment I feel like I'm at a resort!! I associate palm trees with vacation! Sad will be the day when they get old, because then what will I associate with vacation?

Even MORE amazing then that? The sunsets....

So that's my Fall, you guys. I don't get to see the beautiful trees of the East Coast changing from their green to hues of yellow, red, and orange. But almost every evening... I get to see the sky burst into shades of purple, orange, and pink. My own cotton candy Fall.

Have to thank Jose for accompanying me as I scouted for locations for an upcoming outdoor-Christmas shoot. And speaking of, I will hopefully have Part II of his photoshoot up tomorrow!!

Tomorrow will be packed because I leave in the morning to meet with another photographer to play with... THE 5D MARK II!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like Christmas for me. I'm serious. I've been wanting to play with the video function for SO LONG. I'm honestly afraid to even get my hands on it because it will be so hard to let go. After that I'll be heading to the Johnson's for some bebe pics! Hope you enjoyed some cotton candy! :)
